Welcome to the Beaten Path galleries! To view each gallery, click on the image above the gallery title.

Although some of the photographic processes I use are called “alternative” today, in reality some of them have been around for many decades and, in the infancy of photography, they represented printmaking or processing methods of their time.

All of the images displayed are my original pieces; most of them are one of a kind. All of my bromoil images, B&W images (whether hand colored or toned), originate from darkroom-generated, silver gelatin prints. I sometimes use the same negative repeatedly in different photographic processes. With certain images, I can visualize many different ways it can be presented, and each will have its own unique character.

I've recently started a blog, so for more babble, which may or may not stick to photography, come visit me here.

Thanks for visiting the galleries! Feel free to drop me a line with any comments or questions - I always love to hear from you.
